CDA Classes Available

A Child Development Associates (CDA) Class is offered once a year. This training covers the 120 hours required to meet the National CDA Council standards. We also assist the students in completing their portfolios and preparing for the verification visit by a representative from the Council. Each CDA candidate is required to have an advisor who meets the Council’s qualifications, and who does at least three observations at the candidate’s work site during the year of training.

The next CDA Class begins September 6, 2007. The class schedule is as follows:

September - 6, 13, 20, 27

October - 4, 11, 18, 25

November - 1, 8, 15, Tues. 20, Thurs. 29

December - 6, 13, Tues. 20

January - 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

February - 7, 14, 21, 28

March - 6, 13, 20, 27

April - 10, 17, 24

May - 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

The cost is $450 and must be received before September 5th, 2007.
