We know how busy everyone's winter can be, especially here in
Northern Michigan. We will have video/on-line training courses
available

The Whole Child: A Caregiver's Guide to the First Five Years:
This video series gives you the latest
information about child development and child care for the critical years
from birth to the age of five. Taped at working child care centers with
real caregivers and children, the programs teach you about children’s
physical, emotional and cognitive development. You’ll learn practical
developmental activities and techniques to use in difficult situations.
Series host Joanne Hendrick, author of the accompanying textbook, presents
comprehensive information about child-development theory in a
down-to-earth, accessible manner. This series was filmed on location in
urban and suburban preschools, university child care centers, Head Start
classrooms, and in-home programs.

“These are
important topics that I am pleased providers will have an opportunity to

Ask yourself these questions before
registering for a class...
Is video/on-line
training for me?

NOTE: There will now be a $10.00 charge for our Whole
Child on-line trainings due to lack of funding for the program. We
were able to offer 6 months of on-line training free to providers when we
were running our pilot program. The Whole Child training has been a
great success for providers and for the 4C, so we would like to continue to
make these classes available to you, but we must charge $10.00 to keep the
program running. Thank you. |
